What a fun weekend it's been!
Friday Kylee and Mom went to Kylee's soccer game. Rylan and I went camping up near Ophir. Ophir is an old mining town about 30 miles southeast of Tooele. The stake held their annual fathers and sons campout. We also took our neighbor A.J. since his dad had to work on Saturday and wouldn't be able to make it. A.J.'s like one of our kids anyway, so it was no big deal.
We took a hike up a 4-wheeler trail for about an hour or so. That was fun, teaching the kids about some of the plants and rocks, as well as seeing some fresh deer tracks and a deer. It was really relaxing, we got to the top of a mountain, sat down and just looked around. I wish I had remembered to take my camera.
I will have to come back with my mountain bike and ride some of these trails!!!!
They had a small fireside program, then we just hung out at our campsite, roasted a few marshmallows, and called it a night.
Saturday was a non-stop action kind of day!
Ry and I packed up and came home while Kylee was playing another Soccer Game. Mom said she was doing fantastic.
After we all got cleaned up, we headed over to Kylee's preschool graduation event. Kylee was so darned cute.
Her teacher always puts on a cute program. This year she made it like a true graduation ceremony with caps and gowns.
She handed out Diplomas to those kids that were moving on to the traditional school system. It scares me how grown up she seems already! She's too smart for her own good! But Shelly and I are VERY proud of her!
I came home, hooked up my trailer and DJ'd a very fun wedding up in Wellsville at the Sherwood Hills resort. Shelly and the kids hung out at home for most of the night, then went COSMIC BOWLING. Rylan said he had TONS of fun. I didn't roll in until around 3, so it was a long day for me.
