The Utes Family!
We are a family of Utes fans. On the day of the "Holy War" we had to declare our allegiance!
As of today, I have yet to get my Christmas lights on the house, but I did make sure that I got the light-up "U" in a prominent location on the house. You'll notice, in the family photo above, the blue "Y" on the garage door of our friends the Johnson's, they did that just for my benefit considering I had put the "U" up this week. I had to laugh!We had fun taking pictures of the kids in their Utes attire.
We also have Nick Hatch for the weekend, and even managed to convert him I think! His dad, a U of U graduate will be so proud!!!
The only problem seemed to be AJ, the kid from next door, he had to come and ruin a perfectly good day by wearing an ugly shirt! :)
I held my annual "Holy War" party, had a few friends over to watch the game. All in all, the game was rather lame, boring in fact until the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter; in the end, BYU wins 17 to 10. If either team had played better I would be more "upset" over the loss, as it is, it was a lame game overall. The best part was watching it with my friends.
