We arrived late on Thursday evening, so started the real vacation part of it today.
There's just something to be said about walking around in shorts and a T-shirt. It's beautiful and warm here.
We spent the better part of the day at Universal Studios:
They happened to be filming a few episodes of the "Ellen" show, so there were tons of people, the girls were a little disappointed that we couldn't get tickets for it.
We spend the better part of the day at the Universal Studio park (the one geared more towards the movies and such.) The attractions there were pretty good, the "Mummy" ride being the best in that park. Oh yeah, how could we forget about seeing JAWS!
The absolute BEST Ride so far would have to be the "Hulk" roller coaster in the Islands of Adventure park. This thing is Fast, Smooth, and makes all kinds of crazy twists and turns.
The sunset was absolutely gorgeous! As was the girl I got to take my picture with. A beautiful ending to a beautiful day.
