In each of the kids' classes over the last little while, they have been working on writing their own stories and putting them into a book. This is a tradition at the school as one of the last projects of the school year. This means that school is just about out of session.
One of the fun things was when we got to go to the school and listen to them read their books to us. It's times like these that make your heart swell with joy at being a parent of these two wonderful kids! They're just growing up, and it's a bittersweet experience.

The 3rd Grade ABC Book takes a look back at the highlights and memories of this time in school through an alphabetical approach. Rylan's thoughtful and deep approach was commented on by his teacher.
