Friday night we met Tara up in Park City and handed off our little girl. Kylee was thinking that she was headed up to spend a weekend with her Aunt Tara, little did she know that the next morning she would be getting in a car and headed to Southern California. Read about it here!
Saturday was a day of several goodbye's. Kylee was going to SoCal, and I headed out for a Wedding that I was DJing in Rock Springs.
Rylan and Shelly had the day all to themselves. They were originally going to come to Rock Springs to hang out at the pool and such, but Rylan had testing for Moo Shin Kwan to advance from Yellow belt to Green.
(The photos are Very Grainy, sorry for the quality... Camera must have been set wrong.)
In order to actually get the advancement, he had to demonstrate a new "Long Form" and break 2 boards... Here it is:
Obviously Master Lee was very happy with his performance, and as such awarded Rylan his Green Belt.
The wedding in Rock Springs was a lot of fun, it was, at least until the hotel shut us down at 1:30AM. By the time I got packed up, and back up to my room, I didn't crash until around 4AM.
Woke up Sunday at 7AM, got a shower, and headed for home around 9AM.
I rolled in while Shelly and Ry were at church, and cooked the dinner that Rylan had picked for us to have. We got to eat some wonderful steaks from the Barbeque.
The rest of the night, Ry and I played computer games. That until I had to go back to work for the last day of the month, and rolled back in around 6:30AM.
Monday was a cold Labor Day, with a dusting of snow on the tops of the mountains, we headed into Salt Lake to eat lunch at the Desert Edge Brewery. There are few things in this world better than French Onion Soup from the Pub at Desert Edge Brewery.
I didn't take the camera, otherwise there would be photos of the place.

Geese, Marc...you need some sleep! Glad you didn't fall asleep on the way home!
I'm SO SO SO impressed with Rylan's Moo Shin Kwan...he's much better than when he was doing karate moves in your living room when I was at your house earlier this summer. And he can break boards with his foot and hand...impressive!
