Being Home

It's hard to be back home and having the reality of our normal Day-to-Day.

Last week Rylan went to the doctor to get a checkup on how his arm is mending.... He went on Thursday looking like this...
Apparently there was a LOT of sand in the cast when they removed it. Can you believe it's been 5 weeks since he fell?!
Now his arm has a little atrophy and a tan line from the cast.

Saturday was our annual visit to the Benson Grist Mill pumpkin town. The kids always seem to have fun.

Also this week the kids turned in their project for the Utah PTA Reflections contest at school.

Rylan did a short documentary on being on a cruise in the Bahamas:

Kylee made up a dance to "God Bless The U.S.A." for hers:

How great is it that we have a country where our kids CAN go on cruises and dance all over the living room with a smile on their face w/out the worries of kids in other countries. What cool kids you have! And Happy Birthday to Kylee!

It is such an adjustment to come home back to the daily grind after vacation. I loved the video's I wish I could have convinced my girls to do reflections this year, they weren't interested this time around.

I was actually impressed with Kylee's dance! It's so interesting to see how reflections has changed with technology. We only could draw pictures and write poems...
