Ry's Big Day

Today was a big day for the Ry-Guy!

It started off by getting his splint off and a cast put on his broken arm. He thought it was "weird" when the splint came off, he just kept touching the spot where it was broken.

The best part was when Scott (The guy putting the cast on Ry's arm) tried making a "U" out of white cast material to put on the cast.Sadly, the "U" stuck for a short while, but the red part of the cast had dried too much and the white part didn't have the adhesiveness required to stay on. We attempted to glue, but the porous nature of the fiberglass made that not work.

One of the reasons that Ry wanted to have the "U" on there was because we had tickets to the big UofU vs. Oregon State football game tonight.

Rylan was sooo excited to be going to his first Utes football game. (I was pretty excited to take him, I'll admit it!)

We got there early by parking downtown and taking TRAX to the stadium. I don't know how I ever tried to deal with parking back in the day, the TRAX is Soooo much easier.

I thought because we were on the 40th row of the north end-zone that the view would suck, but as you can tell by the picture of Ry and I before the game, goal posts aren't that far down.

One of the "small world" parts of this night was when I hear this guy being a bit goofy behind us, as I turned around, 3 rows back was Uncle Tim.

As far as the game itself.... WOW! What A Fantastic Game. A Sellout Crowd of 45,599, the 3rd larges crowd in history. It was just fun to watch Rylan get all excited and listen to him cheering for his favorite team!

The game was great, one of, if not THE best football game I've ever attended, but even better than that was being able to spend time with my little man. Father-Son night is just the BEST!

Great pictures Mark. It looks like you guys had a fabulous time and that was the perfect game to take Ry to and have a father and son outing. I'm sure glad we have a couple of Ute fans in the family because the BYWho fans can be quite annoying.

Wow what a perfect day for the Taylor boys, opps I mean the Taylor men. Everything seemed fall right into place for the best day ever. I love the pictures, and I'm guessing you both will treasure the day and the pictures for ever. Thanks for sharing your day with us.

There are times when you want to believe that the goofy guy in the back making all that noise is not related to you in some way but it looks like this time it did not work out. Crap that is Uncle Tim.

Great game and great to see family. Plus there is not much better than watching people being tackled by the pre-paid security forces.
