So Saturday was a "Family" day.
Shelly and I started the day at the gym, I'm doing "Spinning" classes at the gym and LOVING it. For me it's all about staying ready for biking in the spring and summer.
We then headed to the big city, the kids had their Christmas money burning a hole in their pockets. After a wonderful lunch at Olive Garden (Thanks to Norm and Julie for the present) we headed to the mall to see what the kids could find.
Kylee was bound and determined that she was getting a "Build-A-Bear" where Rylan wasn't sure what he wanted. Ry and I went to the game store, but he didn't find a game that he wanted, so we went to join the girls at Build-A-Bear.
The kids each picked their favorite style, Kylee with her "High School Musical" bear and Rylan with his Dog.
In the end Kylee had her new friend "Kylee Junior" and Rylan with "Scruffy" the dog.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of more stuffed animals in the house, but it's what they wanted and it was their money so there was no way I could stop them.

I am with you, I sometimes wonder why in the world the kids need one more stuffed animal, but it seems to be the thing they always want.
Two cute animals for two cute kids. I am just loving the cute cut on Kylee, she looks so grown up.
I sure can relate to this post. I stood in line the other day for over an hour so Liv could get another build-a-bear or should I say a "love" monkey (that's the one she chose). She has so many of them it takes her about a minute to enter all the information on the computer.
It sounds like you guys had a wonderful day. I'm sure that you guys realize, as much as we do, that you should cherish these moments because they become fewer and farther between, the older your kids get.
Gotcha! Same here! accessories for the ones we have but then we will need a dresser for the furry pet! LOL, Thanks for the reminder I need to get my kids to the bank with the wad..... enjoy your updates!
More stuffed animals?! I don't think Rylan could fit anymore on his bed! I LOVE Kylee's hair...it's adorable! Oh, and I wish I had money burning holes in my pockets!
By the way, the gift certificate from Olive Garden was from Grandma Kemp. Not that she reads this or wants credit....
Ok, I get the build a bear thing too! But Kylees hair is so cute it looks more like her! Fun and spunky!
