Big Improvement

Okay, I have the best Brother-In-Laws that a guy could ask for. We're better friends than I ever thought possible.

Friday morning, Wes and Trevor came down to help me Tile the two bathrooms upstairs in my house and to fix a problem with the ceiling in my basement.

That quickly changed from 2 bathrooms, to adding the Master Bedroom closet and the bathroom downstairs as well.

We should have known this weekend would go to "Pot" right from the beginning!

Once we got the "Play" out of the way, it was time to dive into getting the floors down.

After school, Shelly took the kids to Tiffany's to spend the night. There was no way they were going to be able to stay here without any working toilets in the house!

Friday we had "Hunan" for Dinner! and managed to get the Tile down in all 3 bathrooms and the closet. We all "crashed" around 11pm, but comparing notes the next morning none of us went to "sleep" until after 1am. We all woke up around 5 - 6am.

Saturday was supposed to be the "easy" day. While I was taking back the Tile Saw, Wes and Trevor were working on replacing the 2 boards in our kitchen that the new fridge had scratched.

UNFORTUNATELY, once we got the floor taken apart, we couldn't get it back together without taking up the flooring in the entire upstairs. So, we called Shelly and asked her permission to swap the laminate flooring in the kitchen to tile. Reluctantly she agreed. She wasn't all too happy to find out that she'd be banned from the house for another night.

We got to work cleaning the old floor out of the kitchen and getting new tile laid. After several trips to Home Depot to get supplies we put down a new floor in the Kitchen, then started grouting the tile from the work done yesterday.

By the time we got all the grouting done for the tile in the house we were exhausted! Trev crashed around Midnight while Wes and I worked until around 2am cleaning up.

I think the final result turned out AMAZING. I am SOOOOO indebted to Trevor and Wes for helping me put it all together.

The "Guest" Bathroom upstairs.

The "Master" Bathroom
The "Master" closet

The "Sexy" kitchen.
