Half an hour later he comes into the kitchen where I am trying to find something to cook for dinner and I notice he's still holding his arm.
Dr. Ditty just looked at his arm from across the room and sends us straight to the Emergency Room.
When we got checked in they had him resting his arm on a pillow, Shelly took a photo of where he decided to slide on his face across the cement, then we wrapped him up in heated blankets to keep him warm.
Off to X-Ray to get this photo:

The X-Ray images left Absolutely NO Question as to the condition of his left forearm!
They called in my friend, and in my opinion one of the best Orthopedic Surgeons out there, Dr. John Douglas to reset his broken arm.In order to set it they had to put him under sedation first, so after she put an IV Start in his arm, nurse Christy went and made a teddy bear that was set up with the same ailments as Ry. Broken Left Arm in a Sling with an IV Start in his right arm, and Rylan's Name Band wrapped around his leg. It was one of the cutest and nicest things I have seen done. Some of the friendliest nurses in the world work at Mountain West Medical!
At this point he starts telling everyone that it's Mom's fault that this happened because she left Dad in charge and went to the Scrapbook Fair. We all had a good laugh at that one!!!
A little while later the CRNA puts this white stuff into his IV and 20 seconds later he's totally in "La La Land!" Which was probably a good thing considering what was about to happen. Dr. Douglas puts his fingers in a type of Chinese Finger Lock then he pulls down on the arm and re-aligns the bones, I really wish I could have gotten the sound recorded it was really cool.
After setting it, he wrapped it up in a splint and RY took a little while to come back to consciousness.
