Laid Back...

Today was a lazier day. We let the kids spend a couple of hours playing games and eating breakfast with the resort staff. They both seemed to have a lot of fun with that. Of course they didn't want dad to be picking them up when I arrived.

So, we spent the next couple of hours hangin' at the pool. Even Tara got in the spirit of things.

After playing in the water, we headed back to Animal Kingdom where we caught "Nemo - The Musical" a live-action musical with Disney's magical touch. I was pleasantly surprised. They managed to fit a 90 minute musical into a 30 minute performance. It was well done and Kids and Adults alike seemed to enjoy themselves.

Then Finally, we were able to get Kylee on the Rockin' Dinosaur ride. Yesterday she went to ride it and was less than 1/2 inch short, so after driving around yesterday, we picked her up some sandals with a 3-inch heel. Today we carried them around the park just so she could put them on to make herself high enough to ride the ride.

An of course we didn't miss the opportunity to ride the Everest coaster once again. This photo is while standing in the "Single Rider" line. We learned that if you are willing to split up the party you can get on the rides in much faster time. So, once we have ridden something as a family, we (even Kylee) will opt to be Single Riders. It's rather fun, and MUCH better than waiting 70-90 minutes for a ride.

To cap off the evening we headed back to Epcot for dinner and the Illuminations fireworks show. Disney pulls out all the stops to ensure that their guests have a phenomenal experience. Although the pictured don't do it justice, it was one of the better produced fireworks shows I have seen.

I'm exhausted for the day. Anna (Our Neighbor) was kind enough to send me photos of our front yard being covered with the wintery mist and snow on the mountains in the background. With highs back home in the mid '40's, I cannot say enough how happy I am to be in sunny southern Florida.

Tomorrow will be our first day in the Magic Kingdom, so I'll let you know how that all goes.
