Making The Most Of It

We decided to make the most of the time we had on our trip, including the day we had to leave.

We checked out of the hotel as fast as we could and headed towards the Magic Kingdom. We really had 2 objectives for the day:

1. Ride Splash Mountain one last time.
2. Meet Mickey Mouse.

Wes and I got the Fast Passes for the ride and we headed out to accomplish #2.

We of course HAD to go on the Winnie The Pooh ride. Then we headed to ToonTown, where all the Disney Characters live. The kids (and Tara) managed to find all their idols:

We ran into Chip and Dale



Rylan's mission was to find Donald Duck... Mission Accomplished!


Tara HAD to find Goofy!


We also saw Pluto.


The THE Mouse Himself... Mickey!


At that point it was getting hot, so we headed over to get our last ride of Splash Mountain in.


After a quick lunch we headed back to see if we could find the Princesses for Kylee. When we finally did, I could only describe Kylee as "Starstruck," she just stared at them; and when they talked to her she had to be coaxed to talk back. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen.


After this, we had to say goodbye to this land of fun, sun, and dreams and head home.

Luckily the kids slept most of the plane ride home.
