Nashville... Day 1

After a rather uneventful flight into Nashville, I finally got some excitement!
I'm staying at the Amerisuites in Franklin, TN, and as I was on the elevator on the way up to my room on the 3rd floor, the fire alarm went off. So, before I got off the elevator, walked downstairs and went outside. Within 5 minutes we had the Fire Department here.

You'll notice the really cool Ford Taurus that I get to drive while I am here.

So, instead of getting in my room, I headed for the Opryland Hotel. I think going on a Sunday Evening was the wrong thing to do. While it was really pretty, there wasn't really much to see. I've heard of how cool this place was, with star impersonators, etc. but the only "stars" I saw were a couple of horses...

So, after dinner, I headed back to the room, (Fire Alarm Free) and watched the NBA Finals. Wow Cleveland got destroyed! Tomorrow starts the meetings at the CHS corporate office. I still wish I was able to be home and go the the Tim / Faith concert with my beautiful bride, but what can I do. I really hope she has a good time!
