Well, it seems that I'm doing this once a week, so here's what happened since the 20th.
Thursday we got Nick and Katie Hatch for a few days. Kelli had surgery on Friday, so we kept the kids until she had recovered enough for them to come home, which turned out to be Monday. We love having them here, it's like they just fit right in. In fact it's even easier at times becuase they entertain each other, leaving Shelly and I out of it.
Dylan got here on Friday. Man that kid is growing up! He's almost as tall as I am and wearing a size 13 shoe. WOW!
After Shelly picked Dylan up from the airport she took all 5 kids up to Park City to swim at the recreation center of the property that Wes and Tara are building on. (She's amazing, I don't think I would have attempted that!)
Saturday and Sunday were just Lazy Days around the Taylor home. It was too hot to do anything until it was nearly dark. Then we play KickBall with the Loertscher's until it's too dark to do so.
Saturday, Shelly went with Tara and Tiffany to Wendover to attend the "Air Supply" concert. I know, I laughed too! So, the kids had a campout in the back yard. Kylee was the only one that didn't make it all night out in the tent. In fact she made it all of about 20 minutes. :)
Sunday, I finally sold my Jeep. It was like losing a good friend. I loved that old clunker! Shelly couldn't wait to see it go. :)
Monday morning Dylan headed off to Scout Camp for the week. And Tuesday was Pack Meeting once again. Shelly always does a great job making sure the scouts have a fun time and gets recognized.
Tuesday was also the final Baseball practice before Rylan's last game on Thursday. So, Coaches Brian, Troy and I worked on a speed and accuracy drill by using Water Balloons instead of baseballs. That was a TON of fun!
