Halfway There...

It's the 14th of February, time to quickly update on what's been happening with the Taylor Family so far this month.

We had our friends Joe and Crystal over on the 3rd for our annual Superbowl Commercial party. It's always fun to hang with them, and this year the game was better than the commercials. SAD!

The next weekend we headed to Salt Lake, did a little shopping, had a yummy lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, and went to the RV show. Lots of nice stuff there. The kids seemed to have a great time. It was sunny, and nice to be able to walk around outside with short sleeves. In fact, I forgot my coat when I went to DJ that evening, I had to have Shelly bring it to me.

Wednesday we had new carpet installed on the stairs, and Dylan's room and the main room in the basement. Shelly picked it out and it looks FANTASTIC. Even nicer and warmer day. I can't wait for the snow to melt in the Mountains so that I can take my bike up there soon!

Thursday was Valentine's Day! Woke up to this!
24 Inches Of Snow!!

Holy cow, it snowed so much last night, and the wind blew some massive drifts.

The drifts over the edge of the house were the coolest I have seen in a while.

You can see by the bench behind Shelly that we got a decent amount of snow. I had to dig myself a path in order to get a good running start to get out of the garage.

But, before I headed off to work, I had to give a small present to my little princess.

Her First Valentine's Day Flowers.

For the first time in memory, the Tooele School District canceled school due to snow. The kids took full advantage of the opportunity and had a great snow day with mom.

BEST MOM EVER!!!

Every year Shelly decorates the kids' door and bed on Valentine's Day. It's something they always look forward to, and today was no different. Then she set a cute table for us, including candles for a fun family dinner.

I have the best wife in the whole world!

Kylee got a "Hannah Montana" wig, and Rylan and I Had to try it on. Since we both are addicted to Guitar Hero, what better way to show off being the Wii Rock Star!

ROCK ON!
