The invitation was a little different than we usually make. This was the invitation: CLICK THIS LINK TO OPEN IT
It was delivered in this special delivery container. (If you didn't look at the invitation, do so, it explains many things!)
We invited his friends and they showed up to the Jedi Training.
(sorry for the quality of this photo, it' like 5 stitched together)
The first thing they did was to make their Light Sabers!
The Light Sabers were PVC Pipe pieces fitted together that I painted 3 colors, the handle(pictured above) was glossy black, the coupling was silver, and the "blade" I painted either green, red, or blue, except Rylan's that was painted Gold. His request as the Birthday Boy.
The kids practiced using their new Light Sabers by learning defensive moves. (No way was I going to let them use offensive maneuvers! I wanted no broken bones or teeth at this party!)
We played a "Use The Force" game where they had to use their force powers to find the hidden asteroid, that was kind of fun for them. We also made volcanoes then made them "erupt" with baking soda and vinegar.
Shelly made a cool Star Wars Cake that they ate with ice cream as Rylan opened his presents.
As the young Jedi left, they got a certificate of advancement to the rank of Jedi Master.
Thanks to Shelly, the Best Mom In The World, for putting on a killer party!
