A Universal Day..

Wednesday the 2nd was our last "Free" day before we had to head back to the reality of home. It's going to be tough going back from fantastic sunny Florida to snow covered mountains in Utah.

We, along with J.R., Anna, Tara, Wes, headed to Universal Studios to spend the day and have as much fun as humanly possible. We started by riding all the "wet" rides first. We got DRENCHED to say the least. It was a bit annoying to walk around in wet clothes for several hours after words, but well worth it.

We at lunch at a restaurant inside the park called Mythos, I think we had one of the best service experiences I've had in years. I guess I can see why this was rated as the #1 theme park restaurant in the world.

Of all the rides there, and there were a bunch of good ones, I think Shelly and I loved the "Hulk" roller coaster the most. Talk about a fun coaster! It's Smooth, Fast, and has lots of twists and turns. In fact it was the only coaster we were willing to ride more than once.

For dinner we headed to Bubba Gumps, the site of Shelly's famous birthday surprise last year while we were here. Since they do such a good job getting someone very embarrassed to celebrate their birthday, we all decided to let them celebrate Anna's birthday, even though it wasn't really. Oh yeah, I think the 5 of us forgot to inform Anna that we were doing it. :-D

Back to the Hotel, hang out in the Hot Tub a while and call it a night. I really miss the kids, but it's going to be tough heading back to "real life" tomorrow!
