24 hours of Twilight

Shelly and her friends spent almost a full day immersed in the release of the movie Twilight based on the books by Stephenie Meyer.

Thursday night they went to Applebees for appetizers before going to wait in line at the theater for a few hours before the Midnight showing of the movie.

Friday afternoon, the group was off again! (Notice the "Twilight" T-Shirts!)
Dinner and shopping was the order of business before they headed off to see the movie again.

Sydney, Shelly, Chantelle, Jamie, Anna, and Lisa

Fans or Fanatics? The line between is razor thin!

Since all the grown up girls were gone, the Kids and I went to Dinner and a Movie ourselves....
McDonalds followed by seeing BOLT! It's fun for Dad to spend time with the kids away from home!

Shopping, dinner and adults sounds like fun! The book/movie, ugh... just never got interested enough to give it a chance, not that I would have the time to read anything other than the crap they are feeding me at shool anyways!

I think when you buy the t-shirt or sweat shirt you cross the line between fans and fanatics. I guess there must be something to these books though, because there seems to be a lot of people obsessed with them, but as of yet I haven't seen any MEN on board. Have you read them Markus?

Umm... No, I have not read them.

I am so jealous that you have already seen it twice. I won't be seeing it until Wednesday. The books are awesome Nate. I know of a couple men in your family that have read them. I will not say names but they know who they are. I agree with Ang....Shel you are gorgeous!!!!!

One small correction. All the girls in our family are awesomely gorgeous. And the guys? Well, what can we say? Dad is one of those Twilight gurus. Of course, I also liked Harry Potter. Fantasy brings out the best in me. I'm looking forward to Wednesday at the vampires. Angie could get some great insights into anatomy and physiology from the vamps and woofies. Great books!

Now that I know there are vamps and woofies involved I seriously cannot consider reading the book! You guys are killing me!

I'm with you Ang, It took me a long time to actually read the books once I heard what they were about. I have to admit I REALLY ended up liking them. Alot of my friends are fanatics, but I'm really not, the movies and shirts were all is the name of FUN!! And might I add, it really was fun.

Secondly, did I mention that Angie is my favorite person right now (and Tara and Casia.) Thank-you for the compliment, I've really been in the dumps lately about the way I look, so thank-you for making me feel good about myself for a change!! I love you guys!!
