We're Back (Actually We Never Left)

Well, January came and went. I think mom was right when she said time goes by faster as we get older. That being the case, the folks must be wondering where November went right about now. :)

Time to play catch-up!

Shelly and Anna took the kids on their annual M.L. King holiday weekend to a hotel with a pool.

This year it was the Best Western in Lehi, conveniently located near a Target!

We spent a night playing games with our friends The Halls which was fun. Any excuse to play "Ticket To Ride"

We did take the opportunity a sunny day provided to try Rylan's "Rip Stick" that he got for Christmas. Shelly cheated a little on it!

Super Bowl Sunday the Johnson's came over for the annual "Commercial Party." We tried the new pizzas that Domino's has. The new HAWAIIAN and VEGETARIAN are both very good! The best part of the day, however, was the gift that my friend J.R. gave me, a University of Utah football helmet.

We ate lots of junk food, Shelly hooked us up as she always does. Happily the game was great to watch, and in my opinion Dorito's won the commercial bowl!

Thanks for the catch up!

I would have been a total idiot on the rip stick with all my athletic ability. Where were your helmets!

My favorite commercial was the McGiver one. I was laughing my butt off.

Although the McGiver and Doritos commercials were good, I was actually partial to the Bud commercial.

On another note, I have never even heard of a "rip stick", but of course, I think we are 28 years off from ever seeing them in Erie. Remember how Marty McFly felt with his Life Preserver Vest and skateboard, that is very similiar to how it is in Erie.
