After they fell asleep, we moved them to each other's bed to sleep, so when they woke up in the morning they would be in the wrong room.
The best part of the whole gag was when we treated them as if they had fallen asleep early, in the wrong room, and had not eaten dinner. Rylan was checking clocks and would wander in and out of believing that was 7PM. Poor Kylee was all screwed up when we woke her.
For their "Dinner" Shelly made them Chicken Nuggets. Then had cookies for dessert!
I have to admit, Shelly is the best mom ever!

They are at the perfect age to pull something like this off. What a great idea Shelly!! I am really proud of you that you made them chicken nuggets. I'm sure they appreciated it after having hamburger helper every night for the last week.
I think I could still get Liv to fall for an April Fools joke, but I don't think Lex would think it was funny, AT ALL.

What good ideas for next year. It wouldn't be much fun with Julie as it takes about an hour following regular sleep for her to start functioning but you have given me some interesting ideas. I think you better keep Rylan away from the girlie decor, he might decided to redecorate his own room. Wonder where Shel picked up this adventureous side?
