Friday August 20th, we went on our only real family vacation of the summer. We headed up to spend an extended weekend in Bear Lake at a condo.
It was BEAUTIFUL, and of course the water's just amazing up there. The kids loved going to the beach and playing. By kids I mean All of us. (we're all kids at heart when it comes to playing in the water and sand)
After a fun day at the beach we felt obligated to go get dinner at La Beau's!
The Mushroom burger was AMAZING!!
Saturday started by playing a little Frisbee outside the condo.
Back to the beach for the kids to play in the sand.
'Chillin' was the theme of the day.
I couldn't resist spinning the kids around on the "Merry Go Round" but was disappointed that none of them flew off or puked!
I tried to take a couple cute photos of the kids as they got off the hurl-go-round.
The girls spent some time chilling on the grass before we went to play in the pool.
Sunday was the Rainy Day... It started off beautiful, the a few clouds started to roll in.
Those clouds DUMPED a bunch of water, and even hail, onto the ground.
It did let up a bit for us to go play in the puddles!
Sadly, the rain didn't let up any more for the day. Trev and I even had to BBQ our steaks in the pits while getting rained on. BUT they turned out freaking amazing!
It was a FUN time getting away and hanging with the family, even being cooped up in the condo all day long, there were still smiles a plenty!

I can't believe that in all those photos I couldn't find a single one of Shelly in her string bikini! Next year I expect better of you!
