Summer Boating Trip

We spent Friday afternoon with our friends Ben and Jamie on their boat.

We headed up to Willard Bay and the weather was perfect and beautiful!

The kids absolutely LOVED being in the water. Kylee of course would take any opportunity to pose for pictures.

Shelly was all smiles being able to be swimming in the lake!

The kids, of course, begged me to Throw Them in the water off the back of the boat.

The kids had a fabulous time being pulled on the tube.

They did manage to get bucked off the tube at one point. It wasn't on purpose, but it was dang funny! I Love the photo of Rylan flying off the tube.

He did manage to survive with a smile!

Undaunted, they got back on the tube, and although it looks otherwise, they did manage to weather being whipped around and not fall off.


Dad got to ride with the kids, and of course we got dumped into the lake.

Ry took a try at Wake Boarding. He was a trooper, but because he was trying to learn on an adult sized board, he never was able to get up on the water. He tried and tried, but unfortunately it just didn't work.

I tried Wake Boarding for the first time as well. I did get up, but couldn't make up my mind as to which foot I wanted to point forward, so wasn't up for very long.

If you look at the sky in my wakeboarding pictures the weather started to change, so we had to hurry off the lake before it got too ugly.

We got off the lake Just In Time! The rain and lightning started as we pulled the boat up the ramp.

We finished up the day by getting a wonderful steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse.
